67. When harm afflicts you at sea, those you pray to vanish, except for Him (Allah). But when He saves you to land, you turn away. The human being is ever thankless.
68. Are you confident that He will not cause a track of land to cave in beneath you, or unleash a tornado against you, and then you find no protector?
69. Or are you confident that He will not return you to it once again, and unleash a hurricane against you, and drown you for your ingratitude? Then you will find no helper against Us.

Wudnt u say that Allahs description is simple enuf to the complication seeking modernists? For those who r too complacent depending on their good fortunes, never happened in my or my known blue bloods, not much of an adventurist or not a frequent flyer, never giving a second thot to regardless how sophisticated the fleets r, well trained its drivers, navigators or pilots r from whichever wealthy powerful nations.everybody in any sort of vehicles in land, sea or air r totally at the mercy of allmighty Allah alone. Allah had clearly mentioned in the Quran that none of these wud b under control unless Allah managed it for us.
Isn't it funny that most human wud accept the quotes of the two human somewot scholars, memorise n even prove themselves deeply thotful intelligent person by requoting them, but even leave the shadows of the company of those who talk about the analogy. Won't accept the daylite fact that these r less than residual knowledges of the most knowledgable Allah n he is the originator of all knowledges, whose existence they also beleive. Y can't then they think that their misfortune can even b a simpler bolt from the blue? Is it pride, arrogance or simply lost mind due to following shytwan in different disguises?
PS: the miracle is indeed in the complexities of the creations of Allah n yet making it so simple for us to use or explore them. The duniya or worldly affairs r mostly avoidable nuisances created by shytwan.
